Whether or not you’re a BJU alumni, YOU are invited to attend Homecoming, October 8-9, on the campus of Bob Jones University. In addition to BJU’s planned events, the following M&G offerings are open to the public. Please come!
M&G Tour of War Memorial Chapel

From an aspiring artist in rural Pennsylvania plucking the hairs of his cat’s tail for a home-made paintbrush to working as History Painter to the King of England during the Revolutionary War, Benjamin West led a remarkable life of influence, and his paintings detail his story of amazing opportunities! Tour this monumental collection of paintings commissioned by King George III and discover their significance in history. Plus, you’ll hear the latest about M&G’s future plans and current work!

As M&G celebrates 70 years this year, find our table at Makers Market for some special updates and an opportunity to purchase a 70th anniversary memento: an ornament of Gerrit van Honthorst’s The Holy Family in the Carpenter Shop, M&G mugs, boxed card sets, and a new Collection catalog!
U-DAY: An Educational Street Fair
Saturday, October 9 from 9 AM-Noon
Explore dozens of fun, interactive booths on front campus during this 3-hour family event. Enjoy live music, food, face painting and cool hands-on science experiments—there’s so much to do no matter your age! Look for M&G’s interactive art booth, where you can explore the Renaissance through art by experimenting with Leonardo da Vinci inventions, writing with a quill pen, creating portraits with fruits and vegetables like Giuseppe Arcimboldo, taking a selfie at our special photo stations, and more!
